PUBLIC MEETING – DO YOU WANT MORE HOUSING FOR MERE?  HAVE YOUR SAY!!!

We are holding a Public Meeting on Wednesday, 8th October 2008 at 7.30 p.m. in Mere School to discuss Salisbury District Council’s consultation document ‘Our Place in the Future’ – this was distributed to every household in September.  This is an opportunity for you to have your say, ask questions and generally discuss the implications on proposals for a further 12,400 houses to be developed in Salisbury District over the next 20 years, and, more specifically, 300 houses in Mere.  The consultation period ends on 24th October and this meeting will give you the opportunity to gather information in order to make an informed opinion.
